Gujarat Chief Minister Narenrda Modi inaugurated a new plant of Hitachi Home and Life Solutions, the Indian unit of Japan’s Hitachi Appliance Inc in Kadi some 40 km from Ahmedabad. This plant worth 50 crore will manufacture air-conditioners and chillers. More investment is in pipeline to expand operations at the unit.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said: “Japanese investors, who take a decision after detailed planning and conducting thorough studies, are finding Gujarat a place to set up industries, is a recognition of the state and its people.”
“It’s my dream to make Gujarat a great financial power. A day will come when Gujarat, along with Japan and Singapore, will dominate the Asian economy,” Narendra Modi said after inaugurating the new plant of Hitachi Home and Life Solutions India, a subsidiary of Japan’s Hitachi Appliances.
He said the industrial corridor; being developed in cooperation with the Japanese government is a golden opportunity for development.
The 1,483-km dedicated freight corridor will pass through Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and the National Capital Region (NCR) with end terminals at Dadri in the NCR and Jawaharlal Nehru Port near Mumbai. The project aims to double employment, triple industrial output and quadruple exports from the region in five years. India and Japan have signed a deal to build the DMIC at a proposed investment of $90 billion.
He said once the project is complete, a clutch of industrial projects will come up along the corridor, with Gujarat gaining the most. The chief minister also said Gujarat was progressing in all sectors, particularly in the manufacturing and agriculture sectors. “When the green revolution happened, Gujarat was not in the picture. But now, the agricultural sector in the state is booming. Gujarat has achieved over 10 percent agricultural growth, while the national average is less than two percent,” he added. “The state would take a quantum leap in socio-economic development by 2010 when we will celebrate 50 years of the formation of Gujarat”.

I am very heartely thanks to God to have us C.M. and Origin Gujarati like Shri Narendrabhai, recently I had been to China for my Import and Export business tour to attand business fairs, it was very good experience but same time we expect such infrastructure development in our state, also first we expect from you a new sea-port in our Valsad District-Gujarat because if we land our goods to near by state we have to face many other problames, which decrease our speed of EXPORT and IMPORT Business. You have done so much for us during your rulling but still we expect lot from your kind vision with making strenthan gujarat economy. Our Most Respectful Shri Narendrabhai Modiji.We have new join in Hitachi at kadi at the date 18/04/2011 is this day We are completed our Training and after compeleted training at the date 19/04/2011 is our first day in company. we completed our B.B.A and now we are in Insulation Department in Company.20/04/2011 we get leave because we have to college for our degree certi. photo thats why we take permission for our supervisor. so supervisor say i have no problem u take permission for u r department incharge so we take permission from our our deparment incharge.now when i m going 21/04/2011 in company at that time the gate man say i have no required for u.because i have a more wprkers for work when i m complain and we want to meet manager they dont ans proper and say get out from here.when i m asking for our salary so they not ans proper.we have a major complain against your company policy and also contractor because they do not give 1 or 2 days salary to workers.now they dont ans proper.
