Actor Ajay Devgan on Thursday called on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and expressed interest to invest in a solar power project in the state.
“I am interested in making investment in a solar power project in Gujarat. I have submitted a proposal in this regard to the Chief Minister,” said the 41-year-old actor after the meeting.
He was accompanied by Niranjan Shah, former secretary of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Ajay, last seen in Prakash Jha’s ‘Rajneeti’, also expressed interest to shoot in Gujarat for his next movie.
“I would like to shoot at some locations in Gujarat. I told the Chief Minister about the same and he said the authorities would extend full cooperation in this regard,” he said.
